💡 LET THERE BE LIGHT! 🎾✨

Exciting things are happening at the Helen Tallent Tennis Center — our new, modern lighting project officially got underway TODAY! 🙌

This much-needed upgrade is possible thanks to a generous grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) and will provide brighter, more efficient lighting for our courts for years to come. 💜🎾

Progress is underway — and the future is looking BRIGHT! 💡✨

What a weekend! 🎾💜

That's a wrap on the 2026 Dr. Pepper & Tennis Outlet Open in Mason, Texas!

While Thursday's rain threw us a curveball, this incredible tennis community proved once again that a little adversity can't stop the Dr. Pepper Open. With flexibility and a whole lot of determination, we kept the tournament rolling and finished strong!

A huge THANK YOU to our outstanding tournament directors, Cade Smith and Salah Eckert, for the countless hours they invested before and during the tournament to make this event a success.

We're also incredibly grateful to the families who generously opened their private home courts. Your hospitality and willingness to help kept players on the courts and the tournament moving forward.

To our players, families, sponsors, concession workers, and fans—thank you for making this Hill Country tradition so special. We couldn't do it without each and every one of you.

What a way to wrap up an incredible weekend! We've got great weather, great tennis, and it's a great day to be in Mason, Texas! 🤠💜

🌧️ Tournament Update 🌧️

Good morning! Due to rain, we will have a 1-hour delay in tournament play today.

🎾 First-round matches are now expected to begin at 9:00 a.m., weather permitting.

🌦️ Tournament Update – Friday Morning 🎾

Our plan for Friday is to resume play at 8:00 AM with the scheduled Doubles and Mixed Doubles draws.

💪 We need volunteers at the courts at 6:30 AM to help squeegee the courts and get them ready for play. If you're able to lend a hand, we'd greatly appreciate it!

🌧️ As always, the weather will determine our schedule, so please continue to check Facebook and the MTA website for the latest tournament updates.
