An update on the new traffic circle

👀 Looking ahead to the new Bethany Road roundabout (at the intersection with Hudson Hills and Melampy Creek Road), I’m excited to share these tentative dates with you.

🙏 Please keep in mind that this schedule depends on utility relocation (that is always a major time component!) and right-of-way acquisitions, and compliant Ohio weather. 👀

Now through August 2026
🔌 Utility Relocation
May 2026 – November 2026
🚧 Roundabout Construction
August 2026 – December 2027

👉 I know December 2027 is a LONG way off. But in the world of infrastructure projects with three jurisdictions involved, this is actually moving at lightning speed.

Remember, just two years ago, when I first started advocating for this roundabout, it wasn’t even on the radar (see what I did there? 😉). To go from our early conversations to approved final drawings and a firm construction schedule in just two years is a HUGE accomplishment!

🚗 In the meantime, thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we traverse these important preparatory phases. Safer, smoother traffic flow is on the way!
