Thank you to everyone who walked with us in the Mason Memorial Day Parade today!!

We shared a post about connecting and engaging children yesterday.
Well, that includes children of all ages, even ones graduating high school.
Last week we had the honor of joining recent Mason High School graduate, Mariah McMillen, at the Rotary Club of Mason and Deerfield breakfast recognizing their Service Above Self Winners.
Mariah was one of the students recognized for showing a love of service through volunteering in the community. As a part of the recognition, Mariah was able to choose a non profit to receive a donation. She chose LOVE like JJ.💙
We love Mariah’s connection to our organization and to Kristen Day, the President, through her role at Mason High School.
This award and recognition was so well deserved for Mariah. We wish her all the best as she attends college in the fall at Taylor University 💜

This week we got to say Thank You to 2 MECC 2nd grade teams.
One team collected and donated stuffed animals that were used in our Easter Basket service project and also used for Claw Machines for a Cause.
The other team donated the funds raised from the economics project of arcade games! Part of the project was researching local non profits and then voting on which one to support with the funds raised. They unanimously chose LOVE like JJ. 💙
This week we got to stop in the classrooms to personally thank all the students and give them some LOVE like JJ items-sticker, bracelet and a Coleby charm.
We love engaging and connecting with kids! We know they are our future and we love to help nurture their 💙s.
A big Thank You to their teachers also! Two of which were JJ’s 2nd grade teachers, so they hold a special place in our hearts.
(We only got photos with one group, sorry we didn’t think to capture both as we were just enjoying the moments).
