It’s National Dog Day!
We can’t let this day end without highlighting the LOVE like JJ facility dogs placed in local schools!
And we have a special announcement for this special dog day!
Meet our newest facility dog, placed at Xavier University, Nari! Nari is starting her internship this fall, with hopes to be permanently placed for the Spring semester. We know Nari will bring lots of LOVE 💙 to the students of Xavier every day!

We are in 💙 with the custom LOVE like JJ grip socks made for us by OldSouldHandmadeShop on Etsy.
They were an idea we had for our upcoming Puppy Yoga session on September 19th! However, you don't have to get tickets for the Yoga session to get these adorable socks! You can just click on the link in the comments (or in our Insta bio), click on the Puppy Yoga button and select the socks!
Socks will need to be ordered by Monday, August 31st!

LOVE like JJ Puppy Yoga is back!!!💙🐾💙

Come join us for a morning of Yoga and Puppies! Our newest fundraiser, Puppy Yoga, will be happening on Saturday, September 19th at Mason Community Center.

We will have 2 Puppy Yoga Sessions that will be 45 min each, followed by 20 min of puppy play time and photo ops.

Session times are 8:30 and 10:30 Mats will be provided. Space is limited to 25 people each session.

New for September Yoga: Custom Yoga Tank and Custom Grip Socks, LOVE like JJ Style! Items will be ready for pickup at the yoga sessions!

For the September Yoga, we will be collecting items to donate to the staff of Mason City School to support the classrooms/offices. For each item you bring, you will receive a raffle ticket to be entered to win custom LOVE like JJ items! We will have one winner each session. List of items we are looking to collect will be sent out to participants about 10 days prior to the event. Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase in lieu of bringing items.

It is Back to School Time!! Can you believe the 2026-2027 school year is here? 🎒📚✏️
As students in our local communities head back to the classroom, LOVE like JJ is ready to walk alongside them! Supporting local students, teachers, and school staff is at the very heart 💙of our mission. From funding specialized programs right here in Mason to filling essential needs in neighboring districts, we are honored to help students start the school year feeling cared for and supported.

Here is a look at some of the ways we showed up for our local school communities this past school year:

💙 Mason City Schools: Inspiring the next generation through the Difference Maker Project, funding Facility Dogs, equipping classrooms with Calming Kits, showering educators with Teacher Appreciation, and providing ongoing student support.

💙 Lebanon City Schools & Mad River Local Schools : Bringing comfort, companionship, and emotional support to students by helping fund Facility Dogs.

💙 Project Connect Cincinnati of Cincinnati Public Schools: Setting students up for academic success from day one with Backpack Support.

💙 Princeton City School District: Keeping young minds nourished with Thanksgiving and Spring Break Food Support.

💙 Lockland School District: Bringing extra brightness to students and families with Holiday Gift Support.

💙 West Carrollton School District: Ensuring kids feel comfortable and ready to learn through Clothing Support.

💙 Carlisle Local Schools: Fighting hunger while school is out with Summer Food Support.

Every project, drive, and program is driven by one simple mission: carrying JJ’s spirit into our schools so every child knows they matter.

When young people have a passion for doing good in their community, we LOVE standing right beside them—especially when resources are tight! 💙💜

Meet Natalie, an upcoming sophomore at Taylor University. Back in 2024, Natalie teamed up with her Youth Leader to start a summer food outreach through her church in Carlisle, OH. Their goal was simple: make sure local kids and families have the food and essentials they need during the summer months when school-provided meals aren’t available.

In the Carlisle Local School District, over 40% of students qualify for free or reduced-price meals during the school year. When summer break hits, that vital nutrition gap falls on the families.

Here is the incredible impact Natalie’s program is making this summer:
📦 12 Families served each week
🗓️ 8 Weeks of support throughout the summer
👥 72 Individuals reached
👧 45 Children fed!

Operating on limited funds, Natalie reached out for food donations. Knowing how deeply we care about empowering young leaders and lifting up children, we jumped at the chance to help! We went shopping to stock their pantry with delicious snacks for the kids, along with essential household and hygiene supplies for the families. 🧼🍎🧃

Every Sunday, volunteers pack up the items so they’re ready for distribution every Monday!

We LOVE Natalie’s heart, her Youth Leader’s partnership, and their dedication to serving Carlisle’s youth. When young people lead with compassion, entire communities are lifted up! 💙💜

Backpack Service Project complete! This was our 4th year doing this project! We know the hardships families face each year with back to school and the need to purchase school supplies looming. We hope these 100 backpacks filled with the supplies needed will help take some of the strain off of the families who receive them.
The backpacks will be going to the students of Cincinnati Public Schools through Project Connect Cincinnati. Project Connect helps to serve CPS’s highest need students, those failing homelessness.

Thank you to Mason Public Library for providing the space this morning. A special thank you to our volunteers who came out to pack!

For the 4th year in a row, we will be packing backpacks for underserved children, and we want you to join us!
Saturday, July 25th, we will gather at the Mason Public Library to pack 100 backpacks to go Project Connect Cincinnati, Cincinnati Public Schools' support for students experiencing homelessness.
