Evidently it is National Dessert Day, so we thought it would be a great time to re-share our upcoming service project- Birthday Cake Kits!
We are still looking for volunteers to join us in packing 200 Birthday Cake Kits to go to local food pantries. We have slots to pack and our biggest need is helping to coordinate getting the kits to local pantries.
We are packing this Saturday, Oct 17th, at Mason Municipal Center at 10:00.
You can find the sign up link in the comments below. We hope you can join us!

What a day yesterday! We were able to pull off distributing supplies to over 1,000 school staff members at 5 different school buildings in Mason.
As part of Random Acts of Kindness Month for JJ’s Birthday, we felt it was important to show these amazing people how much we appreciate the impact they have on the lives of children every single day.
While a box of tissues, or a bottle of hand sanitizer may not seem like a lot, it let the staff know they are seen, loved and cared for. Little supplies to take care of students’ various needs all day everyday day add up, and staff can sometimes struggle to keep up with the demand.
So, we hope the sanitizing wipes, paper towels and other items will be of good use and help make their days a little brighter. 💙
We love our Mason City Schools staff members for all the do for so many, but especially for the way they loved, and still love JJ. We know he was remembered yesterday and his his upcoming birthday was celebrated.

Thank you to everyone that donated supplies to make this possible. And a special Thank You to the AMAZING student volunteers who helped pull off this massive effort, we couldn’t have done it without them!

We know it is only October, but our work has already started for the 2026 Holiday Season.
Our biggest donation drive is back for the 2026 Holiday Season. For the 3rd year in a row, we will be supporting the 400+ students in the Lockland School District. The majority of students in this school district are underserved. During the holiday season, extra funds for gifts simply do not exist in many family budgets. For many Lockland children, these gifts are the only presents they will receive. In addition to the gift, each child will also receive a stocking filled with basic need items- things like a toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, deodorant, etc.

How you can support this Holiday Drive:
🎁 By Shopping our Amazon Wishlist (QR code in Photo, Link in Comments, or in Bio for Instagram). Prime Days are October 6th and 7th! Items purchased will be shipped directly to our contact with Lockland Schools.

Thank you for your support! This is a HUGE lift for our small organization and we couldn't do it without you! 💙🎁🎄🕎💙

It's October, JJ's Birthday Month. 💙
On October 26th, JJ would have been turning 15 years old...
While our hearts ache missing out on celebrating this milestone with our incredibly special boy, we will celebrate him in many other ways.
One of these ways is by doing Random Acts of Kindness in memory of JJ this month. We will be doing our own RAKs and ask that you join us. We are sharing some of our favorite ideas, but know you may have some fun ideas too.
We would love to see all the ways you spread LOVE like JJ this month. 💙
