Our current longest residents are actually a pair of siblings that came in together. They aren't bonded so much that they stress from being separated from each other, but they had such a strong bond they really didn't have much of an interest in any other dogs at the shelter for a while. We tried introducing them to other dogs individually but they were more focused on human attention and would rather be a couch potato than play with a bunch of dogs. Even when they go out together they are always back at the door withing a couple minutes, hoping for treats and to just be around someone while chewing their toys.
We have had such generous donations lately that we have decided to lower their adoption fees to $50 each. However, if anyone was able to take them both into their home we would be willing to drop the adoption fee entirely! Just check below for details on how to apply.
