Chris Ward, Founder of Forward Wellness, joined us at Rotary this morning to share about his new coaching opportunity designed specifically for caregivers and for widows and widowers impacted by cancer.

Some of what Chris offers:
• 1:1 wellness coaching (nutrition, hydration, mindset, and more)
• A 12-week Forward Reset program
• Small group coaching options

His approach is practical, supportive, and focused on helping people move forward during and after incredibly challenging seasons.

How is September over halfway gone already?! We’ve kicked off the fall season at Sunrise Rotary with a wonderful presentation by NIACC Athletic Director Ryan Flickinger, and then last week we inducted our two newest members, Brendan Bell and Katrina Hamilton! Welcome!! 🤗

The Mason City Sunrise Rotary Club held its annual Gavel Exchange Social this week! 🌅🔄 Outgoing President Jen Arends passed the torch to our new President Jasmine Wright. We’re so grateful for Jen’s leadership, quick wit, and for making every meeting feel more like a party. 🎉 Now, we’re excited to kick off a new year of growth and impact under the leadership of Jasmine, and we’re thrilled to have Diana Black stepping up as our President-Elect!

Congratulations to community member Mary Beyerhelm Huey, who was invited to receive the Service Above Self Award for her incredible work with the North Iowa Community Impact Team and countless contributions to our region over the years. 👏

Theresa Price was named Rotarian of the Year for upholding and furthering the principles and ideals of the Rotary way of life.

Both Mary and Theresa were genuinely surprised and deeply honored, proof that good things happen when you’re busy doing good. 💙💛

Jen also shared the club’s district awards, recognizing the impact we continue to make thanks to the generosity and heart of our members.

We’ve stayed true to “Service Above Self” — learning more about our community, stepping up to serve, and growing as leaders along the way. Even better? We’ve had a blast doing it together.
