Below is a message from Shelley Walderbach.

my husband was a previous member of the Iowa Locksmith Association until his poor health made it nearly impossible to move forward with this type of work. Many of your members should still remember him, Dan Walderbach. We sadly lost Dan a couple weeks ago and i am trying to locate anyone in need of locksmith tools, and several key cutting machines, along with a full wall of key blanks of all types. let me know if there is anyone starting up that could use some equipment or those already established could use supplies as we are closing the shop down He was also a gunsmith so if any interest in those supplies we have them too. Yes ...... we are alive and well. Slow to go ... but still alive and kicking.

In March of this year ... our whole world turned upside down.

My wife caught the covid virus back in March ... and it has been quite the hellacious ride the past months. Taking care of her and the household has been a heavy tote ... but we are getting through it. Even though she has not been able to work, the bills keep on coming .. we all know that.

DO NOT think this virus is a hoax or "just the flu".

She is still suffering with leg and lung trauma, and the doctors really cannot get a handle on things.

But .. let me digress ....

I have to apologize to everyone for being so damn slow.

I am going to get back in the saddle and do my best to get into contact with everyone sometime the next couple of weeks. I will take a day off of work and start calling.

If you want to save me a few steps and calls, just send me an email with your contact information (company name, phone, etc). THAT will be greatly appreciated.

Still working like beavers getting things finalized. We should be contacting all current members by phone and making sure all of the email addresses are correct, and will send all information out when complete. Wish we could work faster .... :-)

Some great photographs from out Midwest Keyless sponsored High Security Auto/Lishi class held in Des Moines a couple of weeks ago. Great students and great instructors. We appreciate all that Midwest Keyless and Strattec did to make the class a total success. Thanks again.
