Saturday is SOS Day -- our friends at A Place to Stay are coordinating a whole team of volunteers to bring needed items and services to folks in need: If that's you, please come by New Providence Presbyterian Church on Nov. 8, noon-2:30. A hot meal will be served to all comers starting at 12:30. Other items that will be provided include hygiene bags, diapers, clothing, kids' crafts, locally grown produce, reading glasses and food. Services available include help with medical, mental and dental health, as well as showers, legal assistance and job assistance.
