Did you know Habitat ReStore accepts donations? Some items they may accept are furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more!

We've had many calls recently from community members offering donations to our local chapter. While we appreciate the generousity, we do not have the capability to accept item donations at this time, BUT we recommend contacting the ReStore is St. Joseph!

Building Accessibility, Building Community 💙

At Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County, our mission extends beyond building homes.

During our off-year from home construction, we’re proud to continue serving our community by providing residential accessibility ramps for individuals in need. Recently, with the incredible partnership and hard work of the NTS Building Trades Program, we were able to donate and install ramps that will help improve safety, independence, and quality of life for local residents.

Thank you to the students, instructors, and supporters who made this project possible.

Together, we’re creating a world where everyone has a safe and accessible place to call home. 🏡

We are beyond excited to officially announce our 2026 Partner Family for our 2027 build with Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County ❤️🏡

Please help us congratulate Jamie Sticken and her two teenage sons as they begin this incredible journey toward homeownership. Jamie is a hardworking mom who has spent years dreaming of a safe, stable place to call their own. Her dedication to her boys, her work ethic, and her determination to build a better future for her family truly embody the spirit of Habitat.

Over the next year, our trades program students, board members, donors, and local partners will come together to help make that dream a reality — and we couldn’t be more honored to walk alongside their family through this process.

We cannot wait to watch this house become a home filled with love, memories, and new beginnings. ❤️

Join us for the Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County Application Meeting this Wednesday, April 8th at 6PM at First United Methodist Church in Maryville.

✨ What to expect:
✔️ One-on-one time with a Habitat board member
✔️ Guidance from local mortgage loan officers
✔️ Help reviewing your application and financial readiness
✔️ A chance to ask questions and learn the path to homeownership

🍽️ Bonus: A free (optional) dinner will be served starting at 5PM—come early, grab a meal, and get comfortable!

This is a great opportunity to see if you’re on track to qualify for a Habitat home and take that next step toward owning a home of your own.

We had a great turnout at our Habitat for Humanity of Nodaway County informational meeting Tuesday evening! It was so encouraging to see our community come together to learn about the path to homeownership.🏠

One of our partner families shared a powerful testimony about the meaningful impact Habitat has had on their lives and the deep gratitude they have for the home they now own. Moments like these remind us why this work matters so much. 🥹💙

Don't worry, if you couldn't make it you can attend our next Informational Meeting this Saturday, March 28th at 10AM at the new Nodaway County Services Building.
