Cub Scout Pack 74 of Maryville, Mo

Cub Scout Pack 74 of Maryville, Mo Cub Scouts for children kindergarten through fifth grade. We promote character development, leadership skills, community service, and healthy well-being.

Girls and boys join Scouting because it's fun. Parents love it for all the other benefits children receive. Scouting teaches leadership, builds character, encourages confidence and improves upon social skills. Together we learn the value of service and citizenship, and bring families closer together. Cub Scout Pack 74 welcomes parents of girls and boys from Maryville and the surrounding areas to come learn what we’re all about and how you can join the fun.

The Arrow of Light Citizenship adventure helps Scouts see the power of service 🌟. In this den meeting, Scouts brainstorm community projects, plan together, and learn how even small actions can make a big difference. 🏙️ They practice teamwork, discuss safety using the BSA SAFE Checklist, and assign tasks for their chosen project. 🛠️

With games, snacks, and reflection, this meeting keeps things fun while teaching responsibility. Scouts leave ready to take action and serve their community with confidence. 🙌

Pack 74 and Pack 75 AOL'S

Greetings from Troop 190!
We have a meeting Monday at the American Legion, 7:15 pm. We would like to have you and a parent attend this meeting to do paperwork for your transition to the Troop. While the bridging ceremony is still Feb 10th, Kevan has told me your AOL'S are done. So we have a couple events prior to your ceremony that we want you to be apart of. So if we can have paperwork complete now, these events will actually count for you.
January 25th - The Health Department is coming in to conduct the Public Health meritbadge from 8-12, we will provide lunch, then we will do the ILST Training in the afternoon should be done by 4 for pickup. This training is an officially recognized training by BSA and will go on their scouting record. This training will give them the understanding of how the troop structure works and how the Patrol functions. They will then participate in a PLC meeting and elect their Patrol positions.

ILST - Intorduction Leadership Skills Training
PLC - Patril Leaders Council

John Campbell, Scoutmaster
