School starts at 7:30 and ends at 2:10! Please be aware of students walking in parking lots and mind the drop off line. Get those kids ready to bail BEFORE you pull up to the gates. Enter in front of LES and go south towards LMS. Be patient, be kind and for the love of all
our sanity be quick at drop off!

Hello Cougar families! Thought we’d give you a quick rundown of what we at the Lakewood Middle school parent group are about. We function differently than a traditional Pta, but we bring the same heart and passion for our school and our kids. Our main focus as a parent group is to provide support for the school and students. Every adult that has a student enrolled at Lakewood Middle school is automatically a part of the Lakewood middle school parent group. There’s no membership fee and there will be no spamming you with emails! Just look for a little blurb about us in the principal’s email that comes out every Wednesday.

Some of the things we are planning are Concessions for Sports, library fundraising, staff treats and dinners, and basic volunteering wherever we’re needed. If this sounds like something that you’d be interested in, we are excited to have you join us in our 2026-27 school year.

Just a reminder tomorrow is Cougar Days! We will have an information flyer available to anybody who would like one, we will be at the same table as final forms. Stop by, say hi!

Did you know we have 2 teams of players from LMS? The Junior team (6 and 7th grade) and Seniors (8th grade). While LMS doesn’t have its own team LYFAA has stepped in to fill this void and provide a feeder team to the high school. Coach McShane (LHS) and Coach Ez work together to prep our Senior players for high school. Are you interested in your student playing or more info? May 17th Lyfaa Football/Cheer is having an info night.

Spring is in full swing and before you know football will be here! Teams are forming now, get signed up to be part of a fun 2026 Season!
