Follow up from this mornings video.

The guys worked from the west side of Sutter St at the crazy intersection, across Panhandle Island, all the way down behind Lamon Construction and into the tunnel underneath the 10th street bridge.

Its amazing to see how much these men can do and its an honor to work alongside of them. When you see the ones (not all yet but they will get it) working for the Glory of God it makes your heart happy.

One of my men was commenting on the looks he was getting from people while he was on the roadside and then he said "but I don't care, we're doing this for God not them". That's awesome!

As long as God is pleased with them that is all that matters. But I wish people would truly understand how many things these men overcome every time they are out doing what they do. And cleaning up all the debris before a major storm hits is beneficial for everyone!

Another one of my men used to sleep in that tunnel before he came to the mission about a year ago. Now he was happy to clean it up. As a matter of fact, I gave him an out, because I didn't want the memories to trigger anything, and he was like "no, I'm good! Let's do this!". That's redemption. That's VICTORY!

Thank you Jesus!

Blessings,

We pray over every person who donates to the Twin Cities Rescue Mission . We bless you in the mighty name of Jesus for every gift---no matter the size of the donation.

This $6.00 can buy one gallon of gas to use in our power tools when we bless someone in the community.

Every gift is a blessing from above! Thank you to everyone who gives in one way or another. We love you and "God loves a cheerful giver" (2nd Corinthians 9:7).

Blessings!

Today the guys went to help the young couple (Jeshua & Valerie) that needed yard work done around their home. He was in a bad accident that totalled his work truck. He is the sole provider and is banged up internally.

The guys hauled stuff out that needed to go to the dump, weedeated the fire danger around the home and cleared the brush off of their fence line that had overgrown. We filled the trailer and their burn pile got quite a bit bigger lol. There is still more do do in the back pasture, so I think we'll be back.

On another note, Jeshua has a hobby making bonsai trees on the side. He has many different types and in all shapes and sizes. If you want to bless this family with some finances until insurance comes through they could sure use it. I mean, I might as well think big and say if you want to bless them with a work truck that would be awesome also. We serve a big God! Message me here and I will share his information with you.

God bless,

'Chief'

You can't make this stuff up. So I'm sitting at home recently looking for C-10 truck parts on Facebook Marketplace and in the middle of all the truck parts listed up pops a cry for help.

A young family is in need. Dad is a contractor of a one man company (himself) and mom stays at home with their special needs child.

Dad was hit on the freeway from behind like a PIT Maneuver (and no, it wasn't by law enforcement haha). But his truck spun out of control and flipped 6 times before hitting a pole. He is banged up but will be OK. Blessed to be alive

They have maintenance around their property that he cannot do and they need help. Tall grass and weeds are a fire danger but also can hide snakes. They live out in the country and don't want their kids bitten.

This is right up our alley. They stressed that he is the only bread winner and cannot afford to pay. It was hard for them to believe but thats what we do!

Thank you to all who donate to this ministry. Its because of you that lives like theirs are being changed. May the love of Christ touch this family in only ways that the Holy Spirit can.

Stay tuned...

Hello everyone!!! I just wanted to throw a couple of things out there. Winter is coming and we always have a need for rain gear, ponchos, umbrellas, boots, tarps, hand warmers, socks, pants, jackets, tents, sleeping bags and anything else you can think of to help someone survive in harsh weather conditions. Whatever you can do would be a major blessing!

2nd, our annual banquet in March is fast approaching. If you know any businesses or individuals who would like to donate new raffle/auction items to help support this ministry and what we do in the community please share.

We would love to have some big ticket items like Traeger or Blackstone and Yeti etc, but of course anything would be appreciated. We always need new items for baskets and raffle prizes.

We only ask that you please do not donate used items for the banquet. Ungodly apparel or alcoholic beverages and to***co related products will not be used as raffle prizes.

Thank you!

We posted last Thursday about cleaning under and around the 10th street bridge. Then on SAYlove Saturday we cleaned around it again. Coming in to work this morning there was already stuff thrown around under the bridge.

On another note, I think I now know why people are always missing their 10mm haha. IYKYK.🤣
