The Susquehanna Limited This page is for passengers and friends of the Conrail Historical Society's 2012 excursion, the Susquehanna Limited.

This train will run June 16 from Washington, DC over rare mileage to Harrisburg, PA and return. Along the way, we'll pass such great railroad landmarks as Enola Yard, Rockville Bridge and more. The trip will also be a scenic trip up the Susquehanna River (which we cross four times!) through meadows and woods along what could be considered some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Pennsylvania a

nd Maryland. Our trip will be pulled by Bennett Levin's 1950s vintage E8 type locomotives fully restored to their Pennsylvania Railroad splendor. Coaches for the trip will be supplied by Amtrak and are climate controlled with comfortable seats and large windows. Also on our trip are the private cars "Warrior Ridge" and "Kitchi Gammi Club" to serve as our First Class cars. These cars are from the golden age of railroading and offer a glimpse back into yesteryear. Included in the ticket price for coach passengers is a trip book and a boxed lunch. First Class passengers recieve the trip book also and will be getting a hot catered lunch and complimentary drinks and snacks.
