Great opportunity to engage with individuals who for a few hours learned that they have value and are worthy. We carried Jesus in to the Red Light District. Thank You Jesus for providing some hope and light for these individuals we met with.

Meet the incredible SFM team in Latin America!

L-R:
Wilson in Ecuador where the drug lords reign and people are afraid to let the kids out into the streets. Wilson and his church are trying to figure out how to operate in such a challenging environment.

Theresa, a doctor from Bolivia where, the opposite of Wilson, she has open doors with the police and the medical community. Doors are flying open!

Jazmin, from Argentina. An incredible leader! Jazmin is the regional coordinator of Set Free Latin America. You'll hear more about her in the weeks ahead.

Then, Javier from Venezuela. He has a bullet in his back next to his spine, but he's joyful and committed to justice for his people.

Please pray for these amazing, dedicated leaders. God is doing great things in Latin America. Stay tuned - a lot more to come.

Set Free’s work is centered on Jesus and is theologically informed. We do a lot of Biblical and theological education because the problems are ultimately spiritual problems. The solutions, therefore are spiritual. We want to be formed, informed, and empowered by God’s word. Here, SFM leader Jazmin is leading a Bible study on 2 Kings 4:1-7: the power of God to use community and nothingness to create communities. . . . We are educating communities of faith to bring transformational change.
