Have you ever heard the saying, “If you’ve met one person with Autism, you’ve met one person with Autism”? The Autism Spectrum is diverse and complex. Each individual diagnosed with Autism, and their loved ones, have their own unique stories to tell. Few things are as powerful as a story. They remind us of our shared humanity and allow us to walk in another's shoes; to experience events and emotions that unite us. The Story of Autism’s mission is to bring to life what it really means to be on the Autism Spectrum within our communities. With each story, we not only learn more about Autism, but how to provide individual help to those with ASD and their loved ones. It takes a village to raise a child and The Story of Autism is here to help our communities navigate the unique world of Autism.
