Our mission is to teach hockey to girls and help them to build a foundation for becoming the future leaders of tomorrow! Louis Lady Cyclones is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide opportunities for girls to excel in the sport of ice hockey. The organization is governed by seven Board Members that consist of Coaches, and Committee Members, all of whom are parents of players. The STLG

YHA is an independent organization and is solely funded by the membership fees of its participants, by revenues from fundraising, and by the generous support of corporate sponsors. The Board of Directors meets monthly and oversees the STLGYHA, its Officers, and its committees. Our programs focus on teaching fundamentals, hard work, commitment, good sportsmanship, the benefits of teamwork, improving athletic skills, and having fun in the sport of ICE HOCKEY. Incorporate these ingredients with dedicated coaches, caring team managers, and supportive parents and you have an association that promotes success and positive experiences for all girls at both developmental and competitive levels. We make every effort to make participation fun, yet challenging. In accordance with USA and Missouri Hockey, the STLGYHA strives to provide a safe and healthy environment for all girls to learn and grow as individuals and teammates, with an equal opportunity to play at an appropriate level without any undue emphasis on winning. The STLGYHA endorses the Core Values of USA Hockey: Sportsmanship, Respect for Individual, Integrity, Pursuit of Excellence, Enjoyment, Loyalty, and Teamwork.

πŸ’ SERIOUS ABOUT HOCKEY? SO ARE WE. πŸ’š

Lady Cyclones Elite is built for female athletes who want more than just ice time.

As the only all-girls hockey club in the area, everything we do is focused on what is best for the female athlete. Our players aren't an afterthought in a boys' programβ€”they are the priority.

At the Elite level, we focus on developing complete athletes through:

πŸ’ High-level coaching and skill development
πŸ’ͺ Off-ice training and player development
🎯 Individual growth plans and enrichment opportunities
πŸŽ“ Exposure to college recruiters and post-secondary opportunities
🌟 Mentorship from leaders who have coached Olympic gold medalists, professional players, and athletes competing at the highest levels of the game

Our Director of Player Enrichment, Coach Rhea, brings college and professional hockey experience and is dedicated to helping players reach their full potential both on and off the ice.

Whether your goal is to become a stronger player, compete at the highest levels, or pursue hockey beyond high school, Lady Cyclones Elite provides the tools, training, and opportunities to help you get there.

Tryouts start this week.

If your daughter is ready to be challenged, developed, and supported in an environment built specifically for female athletes, it's time to see what Lady Cyclones Elite is all about.

πŸ’š We don't just develop hockey players.
πŸ’š We develop confident, capable female athletes ready for whatever comes next.

πŸ’ The future of girls hockey in St. Louis has never been brighter.

Not long ago, opportunities for female hockey players were limited. Today, girls growing up in St. Louis can see a real path from youth hockey all the way to college and beyond.

With NCAA programs like Lindenwood and Maryville right here in our backyard, and growing conversations around additional women's hockey opportunities at universities across Missouri, the game continues to gain momentum. The growth of women's hockey nationally has been tremendous, with record participation numbers and expanding opportunities at every level.

At the Lady Cyclones, we're proud to be part of that growth.

Every practice, every game, and every new player who steps onto the ice is helping build the future of girls hockey in St. Louis.

The next generation isn't coming.

They're already here. πŸ’šπŸ’
