Kids Vision For Life (St. Louis) Kids Vision for Life St. Louis provides high-quality eye care to qualified students in over 165 St. Louis elementary, middle, and high schools at no cost.

Louis (KVFL) is sponsored and operated by Crown Vision Center, Area Resources for Community and Human Services (ARCHS), and the Essilor Vision Foundation. Kids Vision for Life provides vision screenings, eye exams, and new eyeglasses to students in need, ages 2-18, at no cost to the family through mobile clinics, school systems, central locations, and special events. Vision screenings, eye exams,

and prescription eyewear are provided to students that are economically disadvantaged and would not otherwise be able to obtain them.

Kids Vision for Life St. Louis is seeking a part-time optometrist to join our mission-driven team for the 2026–2027 school year.

This is more than an optometry position—it’s an opportunity to help children see clearly, succeed in school, and reach their full potential.

Before spring has even fully arrived, over 5,000 children have received comprehensive eye exams through Kids Vision for Life this school year.

5,000 moments of clarity.
5,000 kids who can now see the board, read their books, and show up with confidence.
5,000 lives changed… forever.

And the best part? We’re nowhere near done.

Our team is out there every single day, traveling across St. Louis in our mobile clinics, making sure kids get the care they deserve without barriers.
