Thank you for making our first Live Karaoke! And Singalong with Jimmy Griffin and Jacob Levy a huge success! We have a lot of people to thank. Thank you Fallon's Bar & Grill for hosting, serving and singing along! Thank you to Jimmy Griffin and Jacob Levy for the great music and for donating their time! Thank you Good Boy Vodka for sponsoring the event and for donating prizes and dog toys. Thank you to our friend Joel at Good Boy for gathering auction items from local businesses. Thank you Dan, for always saying yes to crazy ideas. Thank you Lern Radio for coming out to kick things off and sing a song! Thank you to the Alissa’s Hope board and volunteers for making everything happen. Thank you to Alissa’s Mom, Linda, for sharing her birthday at the event. And thank you to all of our beautiful friends, old and new, for coming out to sing and to support our cause. We raised nearly $1,500 in two hours and boy did we have a good time doing it! We will definitely do this again soon.

Today the Board of Alissa’s Hope had the honor of meeting the new Executive Director of the Missouri Baptist Healthcare Foundation where we presented them a $5,000 check for our Young Women’s Breast Cancer Grant. This grant provides uninsured and underinsured women under 45 with diagnostic mammograms, biopsies and surgical consults. Today Alissa’s Hope made a visit to Friends of Kids With Cancer for a tour of the facilities and to bring them a check for $5,000 to support their mission to enrich the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for cancer and blood-related diseases or in survivorship, acting as an advocate and providing them and their families with essential educational (Think), emotional (Feel), and recreational (Smile) support. What a great group of people! We learned about all of the therapies, tutoring, and support groups they offer to patients, their families and friends, as well as all their upcoming events and volunteer opportunities. Could not be happier to support a group doing so much to support young patients.

Today we got to meet Katie, winner of the 2026 Ireland Raffle! She told us that this was her top bucket list trip and we could not be more excited for her!
