There's a gentleman driving around the development looking for his lost dog. I told him that I'd create a post so he can check on it. If anyone sees a dark colored pit please post here. He says the dog is friendly to people, but doesn't care much for other dogs so if you can get him to come to you please try and hang on to him. The dog was last spotted around 45 minutes ago in the woods across from Acoustic drive.

I spoke with the folks from glofiber today at the home show. They've indicated that our neighborhood is on the list of places that they plan on serving. They have indicated that the more interest that we have, the better (obviously I suppose). The service will be faster than the current offerings from either Comcast or frontier and quite a bit CHEAPER.

if you're interested, let them know by signing up on the waiting list, signing up doesn't commit you to anything, it's just so they know what kind of interest there will be in a particular location. Let your neighbors who may not see this so that they can check it out as well. The website is: https://www.glofiber.com/en/internet

I'd just like to put this out there, but if you put your dog outside at 6am and it barks non stop you should probably consider bringing it in. Please try to be courteous to your neighbors, some folks work nights and others may have small children. The county does have a noise ordinance as well as mention this specifically in the dog ordinance, but people shouldn't have to call the authorities to get you do just do what's right.

I'm just getting this page set up for the home owners in Springfield Village (25404). I'll be working on it over the next few days to get the information up to date as best I can. I'll be inviting a few of you who I know from the development, please invite your neighbors to join the group so that we can get as many homeowners as possible here!

This page will be for discussion of the "goings on" in the development and will mostly remain unmoderated (though hate speech, flaming, and spamming will be removed). Having a yard sale? Looking for someone to mow grass or babysit? Post it here first!

EDITED TO ADD: I just want to add, so that there's no confusion. This page isn't "official" or supported in any way by the BOD (Since technically, there isn't am official board at this time anyway). I'm just a resident and thought it would be nice to have a convenient way to contact others in the neighborhood.
