“God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. He did not discriminate between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith.”

Growth isn’t always easy. Sometimes it stretches us, challenges us, and even brings a few growing pains along the way. But through it all, God is working in our hearts and drawing us closer to Him. ❤️

Please join us on this first Sunday in October as we celebrate the Brethren tradition of the Last Supper with our Fall Love Feast & Communion. The idea of washing feet/hands seems to be the one reason why some people choose not to come. While the practice seems to be outdated, if you understand the symbolism that’s attached to it, you totally “get it”. Acts of service is the “love language” of the Brethren church. We “wash feet/hands” each time we meet the needs of another person. Each Love Feast reminds us of the importance of service in today’s self-centered world. It’s the way we show love. Please come join us for this deeply spiritual service.

The Love Feast & communion service will be held immediately following the worship service this morning down in the fellowship hall.

There will be NO meal tonight, and Bible Study is also CANCELLED.

We’ll miss seeing you tonight, but we’ll see you next week! ❤️📖

🍂🍁🎃 REMINDER: Beginning in October, our Wednesday night meals will be served only on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month. Bible Study will be held every Wednesday though!
