Stop Fracking America

Stop Fracking America We are a non profit that raises awareness of the dangers of hydraulic fracturing also known as fracking. We are against hydraulic fractionating of America.

Fracking as the short term is used to extract oil and natural gas from the ground by forcing chemicals, and water into the ground to force it out. Fracking is a new process and has not been approved or regulated as of yet. ,

I created this page to help display a non bias for or against fracking. I mean personally I'm against fracking all in all if it can't be done without causing damage to nature, and the chemical compounds can't be disclosed publicly we don't need those jobs. I understand that fracking boom creates millions of jobs, for welders, masonry workers, heavy construction workers, and etc. But if we invested the same amount of money and time to alternative energy, we could still create jobs. Leaving it up to the government which is constantly being lobbied and bought by big corporations is no way to protect ourselves from the damage we are creating for future generations. I'd actually like some footage of the environment around fracking sites to publish or even photographs if we can produce before and after photos and create a collection to try and boost the effort to stop it and switch to solar, wind, nuclear, and hydro/steam.

I'd like to make more people page moderators to post important up to date fracking information. I have cared about the environment for awhile now. I made this page before people even knew what Fracking was and joked about it to my friends that people will eventually realize that this is the worst way to create jobs and to fuel are economy. Now fast forward and we have more people, that are willing to say no to help prevent destruction of our wildlife. And to help protect our numero uno resource, the drinking water.

Please leave a comment or message me if your interested. I'd like to get a moderator from every age group posting, because all of our opinions matter.
