This is a safe space of inclusion for adults with disabilities to have fun, build lasting friendships, and have the opportunity to experience and learn about the love of Jesus. GAMES, DISCUSSIONS, MUSIC, OUTTINGS, and MUCH MORE! WHO WE ARE: We are mothers and caregivers of adults with disabilities brought together by a church leader who has a heart for our children and for us, their caretakers. We

parents and caregivers are well-acquainted with what is known as "The Cliff." The edge of the cliff begins at age 22 for most. At this time, the socialization opportunities our children had at school no longer exist, and many are unable to attend church as the environment is not always inclusive. Too many are at home all day or working limited hours with little else to do. Friends for Life offers opportunities for adults with disabilities to socialize in a fun, safe atmosphere where they can be themselves, build lifelong friendships, and learn about Jesus in a low-pressure environment. BUDDIES are adults of any age who desire to befriend and share the love of Christ with peers who have disabilities, in a fun and stimulating environment. LEADERS are adult followers of Jesus who would like to lead and coordinate club meetings and outings that promote loving relationships and knowledge of Jesus.
