When people hear the term Blue Zones, they usually think of places around the world where people live longer, healthier lives — often into their 90s and 100s. Researchers studied these communities and discovered something powerful: longevity wasn’t coming from diets alone or exercise programs. It came from how people lived — their daily rhythms, their relationships, their faith, and their sense of purpose.

What we’re doing through our ministry is taking those same life-giving principles and placing them back into their rightful foundation — a God-centered life.

We begin with God First: The Foundation.
Scripture reminds us in Matthew 6:33 to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and everything else follows. Health, peace, direction — they flow from that alignment.

Then comes Family Next.
Longevity studies show strong family bonds are one of the greatest predictors of long life. From a ministry lens, this means cherishing, protecting, and prioritizing the people God has entrusted to us.

We also emphasize Move Naturally.
Not punishing workouts — but honoring God through daily activity, stewardship of our bodies, and living actively in service.

Next is Purpose — your “Why.”
People live longer when they know why they wake up each morning. In our ministry, that purpose is rooted in calling — serving others, loving well, and advancing God’s work.

We embrace what Blue Zones call Down Shift — but for us, it’s “Be still and know.”
Rest, Sabbath principles, prayer, and releasing stress into God’s hands.

We teach the 80% Rule — learning contentment, discipline, and balance rather than excess.

Our Plant Slant becomes God’s Garden Plan — nourishing our bodies with what He provided from the earth, in simplicity and gratitude.

We focus on Belonging — because faith and fellowship are directly tied to longevity. People thrive when they are known, supported, and spiritually connected.

And finally, we live this out through Ministry in Action.
Service, outreach, compassion, and community engagement are not extras — they are life-giving practices that strengthen both the giver and the receiver.

This isn’t just about living longer.
It’s about living fuller.
Stronger.
More connected to God, to each other, and to our purpose.

That’s our ministry’s Blue Zone vision — not just adding years to life, but adding life to years… rooted in faith, lived in community, and expressed through service.

🌿 Tri-State Blue Zone Initiative Weekend 🌿
📅 January 16–17, 2026

We invite you to join us for a meaningful weekend focused on faith, health, and whole-person restoration.

Our weekend begins Friday evening at 7:00 PM with a reverent Vespers service, welcoming the Sabbath through worship, Scripture, and reflection. Programming will continue throughout the day on Sabbath, January 17, including the Sabbath morning service, Worship service, afternoon health presentations, a plant-based cooking demonstration with free samples, and closing remarks at 5:00 PM.

📄 Please see the attached flyers for the Vespers program & Saturday morning service and the full schedule of events.

All are welcome. We look forward to worshiping, learning, and growing together as we explore God’s design for restoration of body, mind, and spirit.
