We were notified this weekend about a few mailed payments being returned as undeliverable.

Currently we do not have an explanation for this as the majority have been received and processed, and are still being received as of this AM.

We have contacted the bank that provides the payment service. They are working on figuring it out.

If this applies to you please mail you payment directly to the HOA at P.O. Box 1223 Martinsburg, WV 25402.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and will share information when received from the bank.

Highlights from the 2023 annual meeting. Full minutes have been sent via email to all registered owners.

Old Business:
A. Two additional Street lights have been installed at no cost to the community.

B. The direct power to the lighted entrance sign has been completed.

New Business:
A. At the suggestion of a resident via email prior to the meeting the painting of the speed limit on the roadways and replacing the signs with lighted signs was discussed. No MOTION to move forward was made.

B. MOTION was made to add additional speed humps with Second The MOTION carried. The board will seek pricing for additional speed humps.

C. MOTION was made to explore the option of drafting new covenants and Bylaws based on a 20-year expiration. The MOTION carried. Prior board members will provide documents of change from prior years and the board will seek legal council as to if the changes can now be made based on the expiration. A committee will be formed to make these updates.

D. It was recommended that the HoA look at options to place concrete at the entrance of the community where multiple road repairs have been made. The Board will seek pricing and have it available for a future meeting discussion.

E. The company that did the sealing of the community roads has reached out to a prior member about doing the service again based on their recommended 5-year plan. The Board will seek pricing and bring to discussion at a future meeting.

Election of Board of Directors
The following candidates were elected to the 2023 Board of Directors for the term specified.
Frank Karluk 3-year term
Angelo Silvestri 2-year term
Shawn Neff 1 year term
The goal of the staggard terms is to allow the elections to vote 1 member each year as attempted prior to the COVID 19 interruption.

If anyone has a need for firewood. Dion will cut the wood from the damaged trees in the front of the community for you if you stop by to get some (not split).

For those wondering the trees that were removed were damaged and or dying. I believe one was struck by lightning years ago. They will be replaced in the spring.

This action was discussed at the Aug meeting held at Rumsey.

We just received word from Rumsey that due to an illness there is not a key holder available to give us access to the building. We will look at schedules and reschedule this long overdue meeting as soon as possible.
