Chapter 14 was chartered by the American Legion in March, 2010. The chapter, located in the historic Shenandoah Valley, serves the local community including Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties of West Virginia, and the four state area.

On this day 78 years ago, the U.S. Navy and Marines arrived at the shores of Iwo Jima to fight in the battle that would become an integral part of America’s fight in World War II. We take this time to honor those who served bravely and fought for freedom.
