in 1929, Martin Luther King Jr. was born. Though his official holiday doesn’t fall today, we honor his true birthday by remembering the same issues of racial, economic and social injustice he marched against in the 1960s—issues that still affect us today.

Dr. King’s unwavering commitment to nonviolent civil disobedience guides us as we continue working toward equality for all. May his dream become a reality—today, and every day.

On International Migrants Day, honor the courage and contributions of migrants with us by supporting our mission to increase people's access to life changing legal services and advocacy.

Your gift can help some of the 120+ million people worldwide who've been displaced by violence—the highest number in history. Real people are behind this stat—parents, children, and others—and for over 40 years, NIJC has been a lifeline for people seeking asylum and immigrants.

In the face of vile rhetoric and violence, we've provided:
✅ Legal representation to reunite families and secure protection for people facing
✅ Know Your Rights education to empower people with tools to navigate a complex system
✅ Policy advocacy to protect people's rights and demand humane solutions

Immigrants are integral parts of our communities—they're entrepreneurs, caregivers, teachers, artists, neighbors, friends, and family members. But our immigration system denies their humanity and their rights too often. Today, your support can change that.

Join us in celebrating migrants and make a donation to help us move toward a stronger, more compassionate future: https://immigrantjustice.org/donate
