Yes, it me again. I am sending another notice to all Post 14 Members who may have forgot to pay their 2026 dues, it is not too late to pay. Check your membership card that you are carrying in your wallet for the membership year, if it doesn't read 2026, then you have not paid your dues yet. To pay your dues and receive your card fast, you need to meet with me and pay cash or check for $50 to Post 14 American Legion, when we meet, I will have your card ready for you. You can also send it through the mail to 300 E. Stephens Street Martinsburg, WV 25401. Or you can use your credit card and go online to Legion.org/renew and they will let you pay up to 3 years at a time, that way this doesn't happen again. If you call me, I will check to see if I have your 2026 Membership card, if I have it than you haven't paid me yet. Okay Post 14 Members, it is getting close to the end of the membership renewal time for 2026. If you haven't paid your dues for 2026, you are behind the power curve. National starts putting together the 2027 Membership Roster for each post this month, if you haven't paid your dues before they make up the new roster, your membership continues year will be (0) on the roster and on your membership card for 2027. The Post Adjutant (me) has to keep track of your years, so you don't have to start all over, but if you miss a year or more it becomes hard to get the years back unless you pay the years you didn't pay. For those interested, National starts sending out your renewal notices on July 1st of each membership year, this gives you from July 1st to December 31st to pay your dues and be ready for the new year. Please get with me if you have any questions about your membership. Always remember you can go online if you use a computer and have an email address and pay your dues with your credit card, now you can even pay for three years at a time. Just go to Legion.org/renew to pay online, it will automatically come to me the night after you pay.
