Thank you to the community members who dedicated their time to help us today! Sean Clemons and the Smay family, we truly appreciate the help!
As of this afternoon, the park equipment was graffiti free, our crews worked their best to get the graffiti off of the park benches and all litter was picked up from the park. We also cleaned the fountain area and weeded and swept the mulch up for the playground and park.
We sincerely hope our park can stay in the condition we left it today. It was hard to see the condition it was in when we started. 🦁
There are multiple trash cans around the park for trash, and the graffiti has gotten so out of hand. We totally understand we can’t all make it out to clean up days but our crew always shows up tirelessly. As a community it is possible for us all to work together to keep things nice, if you see trash pick it up, if you see someone defacing property call the police.
Let’s work together to keep our park and playground clean. With ball season starting next week we will have many out of town families coming to that area, we hope they will be impressed with what they see. 🦁
