Martinez-Evans Little League is currently one of the largest youth athletic programs in Columbia County, Georgia with more than 1,000 children ages 4-16 participating in the league’s spring and fall baseball and SOFTBALL programs. Member of Little League International Since 1965.

🍋 Support DJ’s All Star Lemonade Stand! ⚾

One of our own MELL players, DJ, is running a lemonade stand to raise money to help kids play ball. Last year, DJ’s efforts helped 6 kids afford to play, let’s help him top that!

DJ will Save. Spend. Donate. from what he earns, teaching real financial values while giving back to our Little League family. Come show him some love!

❗ NO MAKEUP EVALUATIONS. Players who miss their time will receive a random draw number for the draft. Evaluations help us build balanced teams, so please make every effort to be there.

If your player is not signed up yet, this is the week to do it. And if you started a registration but never checked out, your player is not registered. Anything sitting in your shopping cart does not hold a spot.

Today, we celebrate 250 years of America’s independence and the freedoms that have made generations of dreams possible, both on and off the baseball field.

For nearly six decades, Martinez-Evans Little League has been proud to help build character, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong memories in our community. As we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday, we’re also grateful for the families, volunteers, coaches, players, and supporters who continue to make MELL such a special place.

Whether you’re spending the day at the ballpark, with family and friends, or watching fireworks under the stars, we hope you have a safe and memorable Fourth of July.

🔴⚾🔵 MARTINEZ-EVANS ALL-STARS | SUNDAY RECAP 🔵⚾🔴

🏆 SECTIONAL CHAMPIONS 🏆

MELL Sandlot Blue are the 2026 Georgia Sandlot Baseball Northeast Section Champions! They defeated Oconee County Little League to bring that banner home to Martinez-Evans. These kids went UNDEFEATED through the winner's bracket and finished the job on Championship Sunday. We are SO proud of you!

⚾ ROOKIE BLUE
Rookie Blue battled all the way through this tournament and came home as Sectional Runner-Up against Oconee County Little League. That is a tremendous accomplishment and this community could not be more proud of how these young men competed all weekend long. Hold your heads high!

⚾ COACH PITCH BLUE
CP Blue won BOTH of their games today and they are not done yet! They have one more game to play!

What a day at Riverside Park! Every single MELL All-Star team showed up ready to compete and gave everything they had. We couldn't be more proud of ALL of our kids!

⚾ COACH PITCH BLUE
Game 1: MELL Blue 17, MELL Red 15
Game 2: MELL Blue 15, OCLL White 5
Two games, two wins for Coach Pitch Blue. But let's also give it up for MELL Red, who fought hard in a close 17-15 battle against their own teammates. BOTH of these teams represented Martinez-Evans with class today!

Game 1: MELL 14, OCLL White 7
Game 2: MELL 10, Toccoa LL 9 ⚡
Rookie Blue played TWO games today and won BOTH. That second one, a one-run thriller over Toccoa, was the kind of game you'll be talking about for years. They've earned their spot in the Championship Final.

Sandlot Blue was simply dominant. A complete team effort earns them a spot in tomorrow's Championship Final.

🏆⚾ WE ARE DISTRICT 6 CHAMPIONS! ⚾🏆

What a ride. Our Martinez-Evans Blue squad is officially the 2026 Georgia Little League District 6 Coach Pitch Champions, and Martinez-Evans Red took home Runner-Up to make it a clean MELL sweep of the top two spots! 🥇🥈

And make no mistake, these boys worked for every bit of it. Multiple double-headers. Rain delays tested everyone's patience. Long nights at the ballpark. Through all of it, both teams kept showing up, kept grinding, and kept playing for each other. That's the stuff champions are made of. 💪

Now the real fun begins. Both teams are headed to the 2026 Georgia Little League Northeast Section Tournament, starting June 3rd at Riverside Park right here in Columbia County! 🌟

To our players, coaches, families, and volunteers, thank you for everything you poured into this. This is OUR moment. Let's fill those stands and give these kids the loudest crowd in the section.
