Sometimes I say we are not a farm, but rather a funny farm, and I think this holds true. Last night we went bowling in town with friends. Later in the night, I checked the camera (no animals should be out), and right in front of the camera was Walter. Walter! 🐐
For the first time since he's been in his new house and yard, he escaped. Of course it would be on the rare night we were away from the farm! He was looking nervous and a little panicked so we headed home right away. Walter looked relieved when we got home and followed me quickly to his house and yard.
Turns out he had pushed a wooden spool near the fence. Standing on it gave him enough height to jump over, but then he couldn't get back in. The fence-checker found a new way out of the fence! I think we will attach the spool near the barn so he can't push it near the fence again.
