This week our Scout troop had the opportunity to give back to our community by planting trees for a local landowner in partnership with the James River Basin Partnership π³
The boys worked hard getting their hands dirty, learning firsthand how planting trees helps prevent soil erosion, improve water quality, and protect local wildlife habitats. This project is part of their work toward earning the Soil and Water Conservation Merit Badge, and it was incredible to see them putting those lessons into action.
Service, stewardship, and a whole lot of teamwork β weβre proud of these Scouts for making a positive impact on our local land and waterways!
Great job, Scouts! ππ
