Marshfield Residents...we are actively looking for new Council members to join our team! Effective July 1st, we will have a couple of openings. Do you have a background/interest in any part of what's referred to as "STREAM?" That's Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts (meaning music, visual arts, theatre) or Mathematics.

Another successful program recently took place, courtesy of a 2026 grant awarded by the Marshfield Cultural Council. "The Coffeehouse" was performed at the Marshfield Senior Center on April 21st. Andrew Lewis & Margaret Ferri shared their musical talents with a warm, welcoming audience. 🎶

Another 2025 success story to share: "Great Expectations" recently performed at the Senior Center (aka Marshfield Council on Aging). We were happy to support this live performance, bringing more variety of cultural opportunities to Marshfield! 🎭

The Marshfield Cultural Council was once again asked to help support the South Shore Arts Center this past year…which we happily did! One example of their work is this magnificent piece that was displayed during June’s 70th annual South Shore Arts Festival in Cohasset.

Yet another Cultural Council success story to share! Marshfield, along with six other nearby towns, supported once again Marshfield's own Talking Information Center and their Radio Theater productions this past year. Their latest, "Railroaded," is available for all to enjoy! 🎙️🎭

One of this year's many highlights for our Council was to help sponsor Mass Audubon's Nature & Art program in Marshfield. Multiple sessions were held that were geared toward families. We enjoy supporting and hearing about big successes such as this wonderful program for the community!
