Healthy Lifestyles-Marshfield Area Coalition is a grassroots organization founded in 2001 to promote healthy eating and active living for those living in and around the Marshfield, WI area. The coalition includes community members, health care professionals, businesses, schools, local government, youth-serving organizations, faith-based groups, civic groups and many others. h System recognizes improving the health of an entire community goes beyond doctor-patient visits through the efforts of the Center for community Outreach (CCO). CCO partners with coalitions, businesses and other organizations to promote quality of life and reduce the incidence of lifestyle related disease. Focus is placed on evidence-based strategies that address health priorities identified by the state plan, “Healthiest Wisconsin 2020: Everyone Living Better, Longer." CCO provides education, training, technical assistance and other resources.

The Local Food Expo will go on today at 3:30PM-6:30PM at First Presbyterian Church! There's no doubt we've had some less than idea weather so please drive safely and we hope to see you there!

Due to the weather Chef C's food truck will not be here today! We have many vendors who will be there with products, samples etc. There will be a few chances for you to win rafffle baskets! And most importantly have fun and learn about who your farmers and local businesses are, and why buying locally is healthy and benefiical for you and your local community!
