Trail update 3/11/2025

Unfortunately we are closing our trail system. With high temperatures and recent rain it left our trails bare with minimal base left. With temperatures in the 50s this week and more rain forecasted we have made the decision to close trails to protect land owner property. Thank you to all of our land owners in Cabot, Marshfield, and Plainfield.

I would also like to thank all of our snowmobilers who purchased TMAs with us this year. We had a record setting year! Thank you for also respecting land owner property and staying on marked trails!

Trail report 3/8/25

Not the trail report we like doing here, but trails have been down graded to caution status. A lot of the base remains, however conditions are very icy with areas of dirt poking Through in the wooded areas. Due to lack of snow and icy conditions we made the decision to pause groomer operations to prevent breaking equipment. If you ride our system this weekend please ride with caution. The weather ahead looks promising for our sugar makers but not our snowmobilers. Hopefully we’ll get some more snow to be able to keep this awesome season going.

As of this morning, all of Cabot has been groomed with the exception of a small aection from rt 2 to last road. Plainfield side will be done tonight. Get out and ride while we can, possibly the last weekend of good conditions!

Our PRO HEAT snow cat was out grooming last night 2/19/25! The entire trail system was done with exception of lower cabot trail. Get out and ride this weekend. I saw a ton of sleds in Cabot while doing trail matainece today which is great! We will be doing some maintenance on equipment and hopefully some trimming tomorrow on a section in Cabot on trail 15C by south Walden rd.

‼️Trail Report 2/9/25 ‼️

Trails are shaping up nicely this added snow will continue to help fill areas. Looks like more snow will be coming later this week. I will be turning additional trails to green today. Grooming took place Friday on our entire trail system ! We will continue to do our best to make great trails! As always thanks to our groomer operators, volunteers and land owners.

Additionally go out and support the businesses along our system like the Cabot Village Store where you can get some awesome food (sandwiches or pizza) and Harry's Hardware & The Den to get a cold beer, or Maplefeilds to gas up.
