There has been so many great opportunities for our JAG students the past few weeks!
Our students traveled to Convoy of Hope to volunteer and pack seeds to help gardens! They traveled to our local park to help clean up. Our underclassmen leadership team and other students went to a leadership day to talk and discuss our plans for next year! Another group of students went to a Springfield’s Cardinals Baseball Game to learn about jobs within sports and to enjoy some $2 hotdogs! Finally, JAG students went to go help set up the quilt show for our Cherry Blossom Festival!

Yesterday, May 18th 2025, our JAG students walked the stage with their peers and graduated! These students have put in the work and dedication to walk that stage!! We are beyond proud of our students and are so excited to see where life brings them!!! Congratulations to the class of 2025!! 🎓🎓 Though these students all walked across that stage yesterday, one didn’t. Brooklyn was so passionate about everything she done, one of those things being JAG. We miss her everyday and though she may not have physically walked the stage yesterday she walked in the hearts of every single student that did have that privilege.🐞💙🎓

This year we added our big JAG on the wall outside the classroom and part of the many new traditions we have started is adding the seniors hand prints in the surrounding area. Last week four of our JAG seniors got to go on a one in a lifetime trip to our nations capitol, Washington, d.c. They got to each choose one activity they wanted to go see and along with that go tour the Pentagon, the Capital, the White House, Library of Congress, and Arlington Cemetery. They also went to the museum of natural history, museum of air and space, holocaust museum, the zoo, went on a night tour of the monuments, and a ghost tour!!
