As America prepares to mark its 250th anniversary, the Daniel Webster Estate stands as a living reminder of the people, principles, and places that shaped our nation.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this remarkable Marshfield property carries layers of American history—from its Revolutionary-era roots, when Nathaniel Ray Thomas, a Loyalist (Tory), was protected by British regulars encamped on the property, to its later role as the beloved home of Daniel Webster—one of America’s most influential statesmen, renowned orator, U.S. Senator, and Secretary of State.

Known as the Defender of the Constitution, Webster helped shape the nation through some of its most defining years.

Today, as the flags wave and the Estate is dressed in red, white, and blue, we’re proud to steward a place where American history continues to stand with grace.

America at 250. History still lives here.

Get into the spirit and come dressed in red, white, and blue as we gather for an afternoon of tradition, conversation, and seasonal favorites.
Guests will enjoy our signature three-course tea menu with an endless pour of Webster’s Blend, along with selections including:

A full day at the Daniel Webster Estate with a crew from WAMP—six girls and two moms who didn’t hesitate to dig in. Front field raked. Back yard nearly there. Real work, done well.

Next stop: University of Massachusetts Amherst and Quinnipiac University. Hard workers. Bright futures. We see you. Thank you. With appreciation to DWPT Board Members Beth Cook, Barbara Carney, Mickey Carr, and Karyn Lux Peterson for their support today.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Carol Kiburis.

Carol served as President of the Daniel Webster Preservation Trust and was the consignment shop manager and a member of the Board of Trustees at the Clift Rodgers Library in Marshfield Hills. In both places, she gave her time generously and led with quiet strength.

Carol was a mentor to many, showing us what it means to lead by example—through consistency, care, and a deep commitment to community. Her influence reaches far beyond the roles she held, and will continue in the work we carry forward.

We are grateful for her years of service, her steady leadership, and the many ways she supported those around her.

She will be deeply missed.

DRIVE THRU AGAIN THIS YEAR FOR SANTA’S PJ PARTY AND KIDS’ FAVORITE FOOD DRIVE

December 14, 2025
5:30 PM thru 8:00 PM

Families were so excited at the enchanting Santa’s PJ Party at the Daniel Webster Estate, where magic filled the air in 2024. Against the scenic backdrop, Santa greeted 120 children in a unique drive-up experience on the Veranda, sparking joy and community spirit. Santa’s call for the DWPT’s Kids Cereal Food Drive resonated, benefiting the Marshfield Food Pantry.

Encouraged by the success, our commitment continues with an ANNUAL SANTA’S PJ PARTY AND KIDS’ FAVORITE FOOD DRIVE.

Items to consider bringing: Kids’ Cereal, Juice Boxes, Crackers (Goldfish, animal crackers), pretzels, fruit bars, raisins. Pasta, pasta sauce, macaroni & cheese, hearty soups/stews, tuna, ketchup
