Marshfield’s Annual Candlelight Vigil to recognize International Overdose Awareness Day.
Whether you are grieving a loved one lost to overdose or other substances, struggling with substance use, in active recovery or standing in solidarity as a neighbor, you are welcome.
We will stand to honor 3 sacred promises: To honor the vibrant lives lost without stigma, to care for loved ones and to support those who are still fighting. We see you all.

New Support Program for Grandparents and Kinship Caregivers Launching in Marshfield

Are you a grandparent, aunt, uncle, or friend the primary caretaker of a child(ren) due to substance use, or from substance use causing incarceration or death?
Are any of the families you serve raising a grandchild, niece, nephew, or a child of a family friend due to substance use, incarceration or overdose?

Marshfield FACTS is launching a new Grandparent and Kin Care Support Program to provide dedicated resources for these vital kinship families.

Held on the second Wednesday of every month from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, these free gatherings offer a welcoming space for caregivers to connect, share experiences, and learn from guest speakers on legal, financial, and parenting topics. Free childcare with supervised activities is provided, and a complimentary dinner is served for both adults and children at every single meeting.
Please share this free resource with any eligible families in your network. For more information, to RSVP, or to request promotional flyers for your office, please contact the Marshfield FACTS Team at [email protected] or call (781) 888-1279.
