Calling all Massachusetts 4-H alumni!

The MA 4-H Hearts & Hands Alumni Association will be hosting a gathering at The Big E on Saturday, September 19, helping to bring together former 4‑H’ers and supporters who want to reconnect, grow their networks, and give back in ways that fit their lives.

The Massachusetts 4-H Foundation will have a limited number of complimentary admission passes available for alumni association members.

What’s the Buzz?🐝 our 4-H Beekeeping project has been such a fun new experience! Club members had the opportunity to graft their own queen Bee to start their nucleus colony for this year 👑🧬 wait what?! That is not something first-year beekeepers would try, but we successfully started our own hives with the help of our volunteers! 🍀

Learning about all about raising honeybees and supporting our Native Plants and Pollinators is a great addition to our 4-H clubs’ portfolio. We love sharing our many passions with the community 🫶🏼

Day one of the Westport Fair was phenomenal! 🍀🐄🐐🐐🐄🐐🐝🍀
Thank you to our club members, parents, and volunteers for a successful move-in day! Safely hauling livestock, packing supplies and snacks, lending a helping hand, driving down(and back🤪), coordinating all the things and spending the first day with us gearing up for a fun week of shows; we are so grateful for our 4-H family!

Visit the fair until Sunday night, we love catching up with old friends! 🖤🤍🖤🍀

One last chance to see our 4-H members with a guernsey heifer acting in the play! 🐄

Do you have your free tickets reserved yet? This original play will feature James, Joshua, and John Jacob—who all grew up in the Jacobs Farmhouse and fought in the Revolutionary War. Join the brothers and their wives (and a cow!) in the West Barn as they discuss their service in the Scituate militia and the Continental Army.
