🎄 Christmas has arrived at Thrifty Relief! 🎄

We’re open TODAY, Friday October 2nd, and Saturday October 3rd from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, and this week we officially brought out our Christmas décor!

We’ve got all kinds of Christmas items ready to find new homes, and one of the coolest parts about shopping Christmas at Thrifty Relief is that your purchase can help make Christmas happen for another family, too.

When you buy your Christmas décor with us, you’re not only saving big compared to buying new — you’re helping us put brand-new toys under the tree for children in need right here in Marshall County through Holiday Hope. ❤️🎁

This December, we’re preparing to serve hundreds of local children, and the money raised at Thrifty Relief helps make that possible. So that Christmas tree, wreath, Santa, set of lights, or piece of holiday décor you take home can play a small part in putting a smile on a child's face Christmas morning.

And Christmas isn’t all we have! We’ve continued adding new items throughout the store, so there’s plenty to treasure hunt through this weekend.

TOMORROW IS THE DAY!

After weeks of planning, shopping, organizing, and getting everything ready, Step Into Success happens TOMORROW morning!

This event is a perfect example of what can happen when local businesses are supported and community organizations come together to serve.

Tomorrow, we are prepared to help 200 Marshall County children head back to school with:

👟 $10,000 worth of BRAND-NEW shoes
🎒 Backpacks for students in grades 1–8
✏️ School supplies for grades 1–8

STEP INTO SUCCESS

📅 TOMORROW — Saturday, August 15
🕗 Starts at 8:00 A.M.
📍 Shoe Sensation
2500 South Center Street, Marshalltown

NO PRE-SIGN-UP IS REQUIRED!

REQUIREMENTS TO RECEIVE SHOES

• Must be on some form of government assistance — SNAP, WIC, HUD, FIP, DHS letter, or school counselor referral
• Must bring proof of each child — birth certificate, school ID, medical insurance card, etc.
• Child must live in your household and be financially supported by you
• One pair of shoes per child
• No duplicate check-ins for the same child

Shoes, backpacks, and supplies will be available while supplies last.

And we really want everyone to understand how something like this becomes possible.

When you shop or donate at Thrifty Relief, you're helping create the funding that allows us to invest right back into our community.

When you choose Junk Relief for your junk removal or dumpster rental needs, you're supporting a local business that believes part of its success should be used to help the community that made that success possible.

And through United Cajun Navy, we're able to take that same spirit of service and put it into action. United Cajun Navy's mission isn't only about responding when disaster strikes. It's about helping communities before, during, and after disasters—and being there even when there is no disaster.

Tomorrow, all three of those things come together.

Local businesses being supported. A community organization serving. And 200 local children benefiting because people chose to support what we're doing.

To every Thrifty Relief shopper and donor, every Junk Relief customer, every United Cajun Navy supporter and volunteer, and everyone else who has helped us get here — THANK YOU.

Tomorrow, your support becomes brand-new shoes, backpacks, school supplies, and hopefully a little extra confidence for kids walking into their first day of school.

Please SHARE this tonight and help us reach the Marshall County families who need it.

We'll see you tomorrow at Shoe Sensation at 8:00 A.M.! ❤️
