Thrifty Relief will be open Friday May 29th and Saturday May 30th from 10:00 to 4:00 at 2901 South Center Street in Marshalltown behind Arona Home Essentials.

We’re still working through a large estate donation and continue adding new items to the floor daily. The store is packed right now with furniture, antiques, home décor, kitchen items, artwork, clothing, and all kinds of unique finds throughout the building.

There’s been a lot of fresh inventory added over the last couple weeks and plenty more still coming out, so this will be a great weekend to stop in and see what’s new.

Every purchase stays right here in Marshall County and helps support local projects like Holiday Hope, Little League baseball, our school supply giveaway, food box program, and more.

We appreciate all of the continued support and hope to see everyone this weekend.

We received a large estate donation this week and have been busy getting a ton of new items out on the floor. There’s a huge variety throughout the store right now including furniture, home décor, housewares, antiques, artwork, clothing, and many unique pieces that just came in.

Today, Saturday November 22nd, is our final day of the 2025 season at Thrifty Relief!
We’ll be open 10–5 at 2901 South Center Street (behind Arona Home Essentials).

As we wrap up for the year, we want to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who shopped, donated, volunteered, and believed in our mission. Your support has directly strengthened our community and helped lay the foundation for our biggest project of the year — Holiday Hope.

We invite you and your family to join us on December 13th at Midnight Ballroom for our Holiday Hope event, where we’ll be providing toys and support to families in need right here in Marshalltown. Your involvement at Thrifty Relief has helped make that possible.
