Thanks to everyone who came out for our first Friends of Marshall County Conservation trivia night. Proceeds from the event will go toward purchasing new bison to rebuild the herd at Green Castle Recreation Area. The winning team received a bison trophy and will get to name one of the new bison. Thanks also to our board member, Brad Rahmiller, for writing the questions and to Zach Tomesch from KFJB for serving as the emcee for the trivia night.

Tonight we celebrated the Grand Opening of the Green Castle Campground. Event included live music, food, and more!

Green Castle Recreational Campground (2891 Green Castle Rd, Gilman, IA) provides electric hook-up sites with access to water, as well as ADA-accessible sites. Campsites operate on a first-come, first-served basis and feature self-registration. Campground include playgrounds, picnic tables, and fire rings. Includes also a shower house with restrooms.
