Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Staff Promotions
MARSHALLTOWN, IA — The Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the promotions of Brittany Sichra to Tourism & Community Engagement Coordinator and Jenna Dooley to Member Events & Administrative Coordinator.
These promotions recognize the continued contributions, leadership and growth of both team members as they take on expanded responsibilities within the Chamber.
"Investing in our people is one of the best investments we can make in Marshalltown," said John Hall, President & CEO of the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce. "Brittany and Jenna have each grown in their roles, and these promotions position the Chamber to do more for our members, our visitors and our community."
Brittany Sichra has been promoted to Tourism & Community Engagement Coordinator, where she will focus on strengthening the Chamber’s tourism efforts, promoting Marshalltown and the surrounding area, and increasing community engagement. In her new role, Sichra will help coordinate tourism initiatives, support community partnerships and events, and develop opportunities to showcase Marshalltown as a destination to visit, live, work and invest in.

Over the last two years, Brittany has been integral to the success of Meet in Marshalltown and the growing economic impact of tourism in Marshalltown.” said Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce Tourism Director Dylan Does. “In Brittany's new role, her combination of creativity, marketing skill, and Marshalltown pride, will continue to elevate Marshalltown's tourism impact."
Sichra started as the Chamber’s Event & Tourism Coordinator in April 2024. Her creativity and enthusiasm for promoting the Marshalltown area will be valuable as the Chamber continues to grow its tourism efforts.
"Brittany brings energy and fresh ideas to everything she touches," said Hall. "Tourism is a front door for our community, and I am confident she will open it wider for visitors, new residents and future investors alike."
Jenna Dooley has been promoted to Member Events & Administrative Coordinator, where she will plan and execute Chamber events and continue to oversee the administrative operations and day-to-day member services. Dooley plays an important role in coordinating Chamber events, assisting with member communications and ensuring that the Chamber’s programs and activities run smoothly.
Dooley started with the Chamber in February 2025 as Administrative Assistant. Her organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent member service make her a strong fit for her expanded role.
"Jenna is often the first person our members talk to, and she sets the tone for the experience they have with the Chamber," said Hall. "Her reliability and care for our members have made her someone our whole team counts on."
“Jenna has proven her dedication to the Chamber,” said Sarah Smith, Vice President of the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce. “I am excited to see her take on new responsibilities and continue growing in her role.”
