Fred would like everyone’s attention, please. 🐾😹

This handsome guy has always enjoyed being part of the action at Whiskers & Manes—especially when toys are involved! But Fred has a shy side, too, and sometimes likes to take a minute to decide if you're worthy of his attention. 😉

Since his buddy Bam Bam found his furever home, we've noticed Fred coming out of his shell even more. He's playing, socializing and making sure we don't forget he's here!

And really… with a face like this, how could we? ❤️

😂 Betty has officially claimed the best seat in the house!

Apparently, when you’re waiting for your furever family to find you, a girl needs a little entertainment. 📺🐾 Betty has discovered Cat TV, and judging by that face, she takes her programs VERY seriously.

This sweet girl has come such a long way. She may still take a little time to decide you’re worthy of her trust, but once she does, you get to see more and more of this funny, curious personality. ❤️

Betty is still waiting for the person who will give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe — and perhaps keep the TV tuned to her favorite channel. 😉

Oh, Betty. Look at you. 🥹❤️

If you've been following Betty's story, you know just how big these little moments are.

The girl who once preferred to stay safely tucked away has been getting braver and braver. She's exploring more, spending time out in the open, accepting pets…and showing us more of her sweet personality.

It may not look like a big deal.

But for Betty? It's a very big deal. 🐾

She's learning that people can be safe. She's learning that this place is safe. And she's doing it all in her own time.

We are so proud of this sweet girl. ❤️

And somewhere out there is the patient, loving person who will give Betty the time she needs to feel this safe in a home of her very own.

There are moments with Betty that feel really, really big. ❤️

Tonight was one of them.

This sweet girl, who once preferred to watch us from a safe distance, is starting to choose something different.

She’s choosing to come closer.
She’s choosing to stay.
She’s choosing to trust. 🥹

And watching that happen little by little has been pretty special.

Betty may not be the kitty who runs up to greet you the first time you walk through the door. She needs a little patience and the chance to decide that you’re safe.

But once she does, you get to see the sweet girl we’ve been getting to know. ❤️
