I just have to take a moment this morning to brag about this amazing community we have that comes together so well to create fun lasting memories for our community! Yesterday I was contacted by Luisa Ortega regarding a small issue she was having with inflatables for the kids at this Years 4th of July celebration at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds. With just a few short phone calls Air Up There Rentals came to the rescue partnering with us to bring the kids some additional activities to make this event even bigger and better! It's businesses like this that make a community stronger please think about times like these next time you are wanting to rent inflatables for any birthday party or event! Today will be a great day at the Central Iowa Fairgrounds with live music, food trucks, kids activities and much more! Gates open at 4 P.M. consider stopping out to enjoy this awesome family friendly event!

As daylight comes about many in little rock Arkansas are starting to realize just how extensive the damage was that last evenings Strom left in its path. After assessing many communities here in Iowa we have made the decision to leave for Arkansas this morning to join United Cajun Navy in there initial emergency response to the area. We ask that you pray for our Team for safe travels and stay tuned to our updates coming today to see how you may be able to help from home! We will not be raising or accepting supply donations on this storm as we already have the ability to have those shipped in at a moments notice but we will be putting out links for monetary donations to assist with needs on the ground as well as fuel and operation expenses as always 100% of your donated dollar goes directly to our mission to help the people of little rock! We would like to thank each and everyone of you that puts your trust in us to be the hands and feet of God and go on these amazing missions! Thank you and God Bless

We ask today that people please take a moment to go over your severe weather plan and stay weather aware! The video below is from a disaster response meteorologist that is very trusted to make the right calls when it comes to warning people of potential danger please take what he says very seriously! In the event that a disaster level storm would hit here in Iowa or the surrounding states Dream Team Disaster Relief is prepared and ready to respond within minutes I've already had conversations tonight with Todd Terrell of United Cajun Navy and many of our other partners that are prepared to help at a moments notice. As a community no matter what happens we will get through this together but please prepare and take these warnings seriously!
