Sunrise Rotary members enjoyed a special behind‑the‑scenes tour of the brand‑new The Splash! Marshall Aquatic Park, led by Preston from the City of Marshall, MN

From the innovative design to the family‑friendly features, Preston walked us through what makes this new community asset such an exciting addition to Marshall. His enthusiasm and knowledge made it clear just how much heart has gone into creating a space where residents can cool off, connect, and have fun.

This week, Sunrise Rotary was pleased to welcome Nikki and Stacy from the United Community Action Partnership Kitchen Table Food Shelf, sponsored by Rotarian Paul Johnson.

Nikki and Stacy shared an informative and heartfelt presentation about the vital work UCAP does to support food security in our region. They highlighted current needs, community partnerships, and the growing demand for services. This morning, Sunrise Rotary was pleased to welcome Adam Rigge of Southwest Tree Treatment and Hydrite Chemical, sponsored by Rotarian Paul Smith.

🌅 Sunrise Rotary Spotlight! 🌟
This morning, we were pleased to welcome Hannah Abel, Director of Alumni Relations and Outreach at Southwest Minnesota State University, sponsored by Rotarian Nathan Polfliet.
Hannah shared a personal and inspiring presentation about her journey at SMSU, from her time as a student to her current leadership role at the university. She reflected on how her experiences shaped her path, the mentors who influenced her along the way, and what it means to now give back to the institution that played such an important role in her career.
She also highlighted the Gold College, an exciting program that provides adults with lifelong learning opportunities centered on personal interests and enrichment. Hannah shared how the program encourages continued learning, curiosity, and connection within the community.
