Daniela Muench who is a teacher’s aid/parapro from Hughes school contacted me (Ruthann Holmes, store director) about having the Hughes Elementary Girls on the Run group do a community service project for There’s Enough.

The goal was to share with the young ladies what is There’s Enough, what do they do and why. Nancy Pawlukiewicz, one of the store managers met the group on a beautiful day after Easter to give a tour of the store and along with other volunteers they started a project of sorting books that came in as a donation.
In the pictures you can see another fine volunteer Deb Lyng with the girls helping them sort. What fun they all had and it gets better. These young ladies took part in a Mom to Mom Sale and gifted the store!!! How amazing is that.

Girls on the Run offers programs designed to inspire girls of all abilities to recognize and embrace their inner strength and make meaningful connections with others. Trained coaches use physical activity and dynamic discussions to build social, emotional and physical skills while encouraging healthy habits for life. In today’s unpredictable world, the strategies learned at Girls on the Run are more important than ever.
To learn more about Girls on the Run please visit the website https://www.gotrofcalhoun.org for more information.

Thank you Nancy for hosting the young ladies of our future and thank you to everyone that participated! We are truly blessed and see a bright future for all of you.
