What a wonderful evening at the Harrison County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting & Fish Fry! 🐟🌾
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a tremendous success. We are grateful for each member, guest, volunteer, and supporter who had a hand in making this event so special.
Our guest speaker was Sydney Stephens of Harleton FFA and Harrison County 4-H, who currently serves as the Harrison County Farm Bureau Youth Ambassador. Sydney shared her appreciation for the opportunity to attend the Texas Farm Bureau Summer Leadership Seminar, THRIVE, and spoke passionately about the importance of advocating for agriculture and telling the story of those who feed and provide for our communities. We are proud of Sydney and the leadership she is already demonstrating!
We also had the opportunity to recognize two outstanding Farm Bureau leaders:
👏 Mr. Jimmy McKelvey was recognized for more than 30 years of dedicated service to the Harrison County Farm Bureau board.
👏 Mr. Henry Woodley was recognized for his 15 years of service as Harrison County Farm Bureau President.
Thank you, Mr. Jimmy and Mr. Henry, for your many years of commitment, leadership, and service to agriculture and our county!
We were also honored to have Jerry Moody, District 5 Texas Farm Bureau State Director, and his wife, Deanna, join us for the evening. We truly appreciate you being there to celebrate with us!
And, of course, we couldn’t end the evening without some wonderful door prizes! 🎁
From the delicious fish fry to the fellowship, recognition, and great conversations, it was a fabulous evening celebrating agriculture and the people who make it strong.
Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this event possible. We appreciate you more than you know!
