We had a SWEET presentation this morning...What better way to celebrate National Fudge Day than having our local fudge shop owner, Stephen Klein from Walnut Grove Mercantile come talk all things fudge!! From fudge trivia to samples- he had all the information. Thanks for sharing your time with us.
We were also able to give 6 lucky winners a half pound box of fudge thanks to Southwest Initiative Foundation and the Paul and Alma Schwan Aging Trust Endowment Fund. Making memories that matter in our community 😊

Today we welcomed International SMSU student Nicole. She presented on her homeland of Tawain. We learned about her culture, family population, foods and so much more. We followed her presentation with a couple samples.of her favorite things: Bubble Tea and Spring Rolls πŸ˜‹ Little did we know when we planned this, that today also happened to be National Tea Day and Egg Roll Day. 😊

We were also able to giveaway 3 at home kits to make your own bubble tea

Thank you to Southwest Initiative Foundation and the Paul and Alma Schwan Aging Trust Endowment Fund for making programs like these possible.
