REMINDER: Starting TODAY, the intersection of Main Street and College Drive will be closed as part of the College Drive reconstruction project.

Crews will replace the sanitary sewer, upgrade the signal system, and begin work on new pavement and sidewalks. Work is expected to take 4 to 6 weeks.

Alternate routes are shown in green and closures are shown in red on the attached image.

Local access:
West Redwood Street will be open for crossing only. No travel along Hwy 19 in the work zone. The crossing will be gravel.

Hwy 19 remains closed from Main Street to N. 3rd Street.

Please slow down, watch for workers, and use caution on local streets.

‼️UPDATE AS OF 5/15/2026: 🚧Also beginning Monday, May 18th, 5th Street from Saratoga to Main Street will be closed. The intersection of Saratoga Street and 5th Street will be closed daily from 8am to 7pm.

🚧🚨NOTICE: Beginning Monday, May 18th the Main Street stoplight intersection of Highways 19 and 59 will be closed as crews begin to replace the sanitary sewer, upgrade the signal system, and begin work on new pavement and sidewalks.🚨🚧

🗺The first map shows the ways you can still easily access Main Street / Downtown Marshall from E College Drive, side streets, Saratoga Street, and W College Drive. The second map shows detour routes (from the MnDOT SWMN page). We will update graphics if/when needed.

👷Per the Minnesota Department of Transportation, W Redwood Street will be open for crossing only. There will be no travel along Hwy 19 in the work zone. The crossing will be gravel. Hwy 19 remains closed from Main Street to N 3rd Street. Please remember to slow down, watch for workers, and use caution on local streets.
