Progress is happening in downtown Marshall.

Every renovation, restoration, improvement, and investment adds to the strength of our historic downtown. These projects do more than improve buildings. They help preserve character, support future business growth, and build momentum for the entire district.

It is encouraging to see continued investment in the heart of our community, and Marshall Main Street is proud to support the long-term vision of a stronger, more vibrant downtown.

A beautiful downtown does not happen by accident. It happens because people care enough to invest in it.

Our hanging flower baskets help make downtown Marshall feel vibrant, welcoming, and full of life each season. Marshall Main Street is now seeking sponsors for Bloom & Brighten Marshall 2026.

For $200, you can sponsor a downtown hanging flower basket and help support the flowers and care that keep our square blooming throughout the season.

Sponsors receive recognition on a large downtown display poster, on our website and social media, and business sponsors may also submit their logo for campaign recognition.

We hope you will join us on Thursday, May 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Butterfield Elementary for an important community conversation about the future of downtown Marshall. Marshall Main Street will be hosting Missouri Main Street Connection for a Strategy Identification session focused on reviewing survey feedback and economic data to help identify transformation strategies that will guide our downtown efforts moving forward. This is an important step in shaping the vision for Marshall, and we would love to see community members there as we continue building momentum together.

Marshall Main Street is excited to share that we are planning Marshall’s first Hispanic Heritage Festival and Marshall’s first Pacific Islander Heritage Festival — coming in 2027.

This year is all about planning and community voices for these two separate events.
To make these festivals authentic, meaningful, and truly representative, we need your help now.

October 8th to celebrate my birthday week, I’ll be doing a pop-up massage at one of my favorite spots—Novel/Tea & Nonsense! 📚🍵

📋 Sign-up sheet will be at the front desk starting Friday evening through Wednesday.

• 10 minutes – $15
• 15 minutes – $20
🕚 Hours: 11 AM – 5 PM

We are posting this again- we need your help watering and keeping our beautiful flowers alive.

Both August and September need volunteers to sign up. Our board members have been donating their time to keeping these beauties alive, and we are asking for more volunteers to help us out.

You can water in the morning or evening (most of us are night owls so we’ve been watering around 8pm). With two people, it takes about an hour. One person drives and the other waters with the wand.

The Marshall Public Schools have graciously loaned us a vehicle and tank to use this summer, which is securely stored off site.
