We want to take a moment to acknowledge the tremendous effort of our PCO parents and staff members at Gordon Elementary School for the 2025-2026 school year! Below is a list of some key accomplishments and special events made possible through the work of our PCO team:
- Received a $3,500 grant from Post Consumer Brands to purchase supplies to create Brain Break areas throughout the school
- Applied for and received a scholarship from MCCU to purchase curriculum materials
- Supported Roots & Shoots activities throughout the year
- 2025-2026 School Year T-Shirts
- Community Tailgate
- Popcorn Days
- Hungry Howie’s Fundraisers Monthly
- Chick-fil-A Community Cares Events
- Provided Staff Lunches quarterly
- Family Game Night
- Two Book Fairs
- Craft Night
- Staff Holiday Gifts
- All Elementary School Carnival
- Book BINGO
- Science Fair
- Paid for opportunities for students to engage with authors
- Purchased hats for 4th graders on their Mackinac trip
- Provided scholarships for field trips and overnight activities throughout the year
- Purchased supplies to install a sandbox for the playground
- Assisted with purchasing t-shirts for the PE running program
- Staff Appreciation Week Gifts & Activities
