New sign at Bush Field entrance installed
A new sign for the entrance at Bush Field was created by the Marshall High School welding class as its class project during the 2025-2026 school year. Under the guidance of welding teacher Ryan McGuire, the students created the design utilizing CAD, a computer aided design software program to make the vision become reality in three dimensions.
The designers/welders for this project were welding students Bryce Griguhn, Turner Graham, and Pierce Wellum.
Welders for this project include students Joey Foster, Ayden Houpt, Lily Setzer, Asher Ring, and Clayton Beard.
Alumni welders for this project providing expertise and guidance were Bill Cook, Gabe Deckard, and Connor Burrows.
On Friday, May 15th, the finished project was installed at the entrance to the football field. Josh Orman and Ethan Orman from Orman, Inc. in Marshall, with the donated use of a lift from B&T Drainage in Marshall, gave their time to put the finishing touches on the installation of the sign on the façade at the Bush Field entrance.
Mr. McGuire would like to thank Josh and Ethan Orman, the Boyer boys from B&T Drainage, Bill Cook, the Marshall Quarterback Club, and everyone else for their support of this lasting legacy to Bush Field.
